Creating Custom Status Lines with DIESEL

DIESEL was first introduced in AutoCAD Release 12. Its primary purpose was to provide a means of customizing AutoCAD’s status line. The status line in AutoCAD is the bar appearing at the bottom of the AutoCAD application window. Without any customization, the status line appears as shown in Figure 35.7.
