Controlling OLE Object Properties

AutoCAD provides specific tools for manipulating an OLE object because AutoCAD commands typically do not affect OLE objects. For example, you cannot select an OLE object and erase it with the ERASE command, nor can you resize it using the SCALE command. However, by using specific tools designed for manipulating OLE objects, you can control an OLE object’s appearance in AutoCAD.

Tip

When you select an OLE object in AutoCAD to display its grips, you can press the Delete key to delete the object.
