A Brief Look at Visual LISP

With the release of AutoCAD 2000, Visual LISP became fully incorporated into AutoCAD. Visual LISP is a modern, updated implementation of AutoCAD’s AutoLISP programming interface. It should not be viewed as a replacement for AutoLISP, but rather as an extension of AutoLISP’s functionality with the addition of a fully integrated development environment (IDE) that makes it easier and faster for users to create, debug, and even package AutoLISP-based applications.
