Scripts and Slides

AutoCAD provides a script feature that executes AutoCAD commands read directly from a simple text file. Prior to the incorporation of Template drawings, plotting PCX files and user Profiles, scripts were often used to perform drawing and plotting setups and configurations. In the modern CAD environment offered by AutoCAD 2002, the script facility is largely reserved for more advanced customization tasks and for displaying a continuously running demonstration of AutoCAD screen displays.
