Chapter 16. Drawing Hatch Patterns

When you need to fill an area with a repetitive pattern or a solid fill, you can use the BHATCH command to create a hatch object. In this chapter, you will learn to do the following:

  • Specify the pattern to be used and the parameters governing the generation of the hatch

  • Define the boundaries of the area to be filled

  • Edit a hatch pattern

  • Control the visibility of hatch objects

  • Create your own custom hatch patter

  • Use the BOUNDARY command to create outlines of complex areas
