Extension and Parallel Osnaps

The final set of object snaps discussed in this chapter were new in AutoCAD 2000. The Extension Osnap extends an existing object’s vector, simulating the extension with a dashed construction line. Similarly, the Parallel Osnap displays a dashed line that is parallel and offset from an existing object.

In the next exercise, you use the Extension and Parallel Osnaps to draw a line parallel to an existing object.
