Creating and Using Custom Linetypes

In a previous section in this chapter, you learned about loading linetypes into the current drawing. By loading linetypes, you present yourself with a fairly large and diverse selection of linetypes to use in your drawing. By loading the desired linetypes into the current drawing, you can create a drawing that more easily transfers the meaning of your drawing to the viewer.

Unfortunately, even though AutoCAD 2002 ships with a fairly large number of ready-to-use linetypes, you will probably come across situations in which the ready-made linetypes don’t fit your needs.
