Globalization and Localization

The .NET framework has support for the development of international applications. International application development requires two separate processes: globalization and localization. Globalization is the process of creating a core application that supports localized user interfaces and regional data for all users. Localization is the process of translating an application’s user interface into a specific language. Truly, global applications should be culture and language neutral.
