Acknowledgments

Book number two was no easy task and would not have been possible without the help, support, inspiration, and knowledge of many. They all deserve thanks and gratitude. Thanking everyone would take too long, but some cannot be ignored.

It always starts with family. Growing a business is more than a full-time job. Without the support provided by my wife, Laini, none of this would be possible. Her understanding of the many business trips and late-work nights, along with her constant support and encouragement, makes it all possible. I do not have enough words to describe my love for her and my appreciation for all her support.

My three sons—I am not talking about the 1960s sitcom but my three sons, Josh, Danny, and Jake. When ForeSee started in 2001, they were small kids. Now, as the second book is being finished, they are young men. As the company grew, as I grew as a CEO, they grew, too. As they have grown, I have enjoyed seeing their interests broaden, and now we talk about not only Michigan football and basketball but also technology, business, and metrics. That is inspiring. (But we also still talk about Michigan!)
