Summary
We created our very first graphics from polygons, ellipses, circles, arcs, and even an arrow by combining shapes. To do all of this, we used the basic shapes available to us through Inkscape but also worked with the Bezier Tool to create freehand shapes (such as the lightning bolt).
We also took some time to turn on grids and to learn how to create guides for better aligning and designing. Next up, we shall be learning all we can about layers.
