Informix Dynamic Server, Personal Edition
This product is the only version of IDS that will run on Windows 95. The regular version of IDS for NT requires an NTFS filesystem, which is not supported in Windows 95. IDS-PE was introduced as a beta test through the Informix International Users Group and was available for free downloading from their Web site:
The product was derived from IDS 7.22 on NT and has all of 7.22's features with the exception of:
ONPLOAD the parallel data loader and Parallel Data Query (PDQ)
ONBAR the online archive tool
XA the XA transaction manager support
