Abstract
Since 2008, systems design practices and informed learning principles further information transfer and knowledge creation within a North American academic library. Inclusive design of communication systems and professional practices foster and fortify the usage of information and technology for “learning in action.” Practical examples of library facility reinvention, discovery system integration, and shared leadership innovation illustrate the efficacy of an Informed Systems approach to furthering organizational readiness, workplace learning, and continuous improvement.
