The following section discusses topics for consideration for future modernization projects. These are lessons learned by the project team during their performance of the LSM pilot project.
User Interface Modernization
One area in which the project might not be considered fully successful is the assumed goal of presenting a modernized interface to the end users of the system. It was assumed that, in the course of moving the system from a Telnet-based interface to a Web-based one, HTML forms would be used in building the modernized system interface.
