EATMS hardware performance evaluation

The current trend in hardware is toward many core and multi-processor CPUs. The modernized JFDP architecture and design provided much better multi-threading benefits and multi-CPU hardware than the original Ada. Multi-threading was a key enhancement required to support Coopans’ scalability requirements.

A key focus of the EATMS project was to assure JFDP software performance satisfaction of Eurocat's strict runtime performance requirements. To date there have been no JVM crashes, no crashes in the Java code, and no performance/response time issues during testing.
