After 25 years of an extensive and internationally oriented academic career, Irene Wormell is now Professor Emerita, but her engagement and participation in several professional activities is still continuing. As invited lecturer, she travels frequently maintaining her international professional network. As consultant she is associated with the Danish trend analysis bureau Firstmove A/S.
