PAVITHRA MEHTA
Pavithra K. Mehta is a writer-filmmaker, in a family of 21 (and still counting) eye surgeons. This might explain her fondness for stories that help people see. Her award-winning documentary Infinite Vision followed the life and work of Dr. V, who is her granduncle. He once created a nine-item To-Do List for her that she has yet to complete. (Item #4 reads: Quality Care For All.) Pavithra is drawn to the space where service and story-telling meet.
