GSMs Can Manage Multiple Subnets
Refer to Figure 28-1 on page 781. Unlike the SM that is limited to managing the devices within its own subnet, a GSM can manage devices in multiple subnets. In other words, a GMP may specify a destination port in another subnet via the GRH:DGID address field.
