Software Control of QP State
Software can change the current state of a QP by executing the Modify QP verb call. Depending on the QP's current state and the state being transitioned to (using the Modify QP verb), the specification defines some input parameters as required and others as optional. The sections that follow describe each state and define the required versus optional parameters when software transitions the QP to that state.
