13.7 File ‘GAGELIN’
This file, included in the Minitab sample data folder, is used to illustrate how to carry out a linearity study in the context of measurement systems. Five parts of different sizes are taken representing the expected range of the measurements. Each part is measured by a pattern system to determine its reference (master) value. Then, an operator takes twelve measures of each part, using the system under study. The file content is organized as follows:
