A3.3 Add Elements to an Existing Toolbar

In case some Minitab menu options are frequently used, you can add them to an existing toolbar.

Tools > Customize, or right-click on any toolbar, and choose Customize on the displayed menu.

From the Commands tab, a list with all Minitab menus can be accessed. Any option from the right menu can be selected and then placed in an existing toolbar. The procedure to follow is commonly used in many Windows programs that allow you to customize toolbars.

To remove an option from a toolbar, simply pull it out by dragging it while the Customize window remains open.

In the same way that options are added to a toolbar, they can also be added to a menu. With the Customize window open, drag the option of interest to the menu, and release it wherever you want it to stay. You can even drag commands inside the menus to change their location.
