Training system
Abstract
The chapter deals with the training solutions and systems used in the process control applications. The typical need for such systems and advantages of using such systems in improving the operator performance and - the safety incidents are articulated. The chapter also covers in detail the typical topologies and architectures of such systems, engineering aspects, and functionalities available in some of the commercial systems. The topic is also covered with some aspect and basics of the process modeling, which helps the reader to understand the overall concept of such systems in the real implementation.
