About the Authors
Pedro Castillo García received his BS degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Zacatepec, Morelos, Mexico, in 1997, the MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados (CINVESTAV), Mexico, in 2000, and the PhD degree in Automatic Control from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne, France, in 2004. He has held visiting positions at the University of Sydney, Australia (2004), at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2005, at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Spain (2005).
