The Editors
Professor Mahendra Prasad Singh was educated at Patna University and the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada, with MA and Ph.D. in political science. He specializes in Indian and Canadian politics, comparative and South Asian politics, and philosophy of science and research methods. He taught political science at the Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, Bihar, before moving to the University of Delhi, from where he retired as the Professor and Head of the Department of Political Science and the Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences. He has also served as a Director at the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi.
