About the Author

Inbound marketing strategist, speaker, and author Scott Anderson Miller fed his serial entrepreneurship with 13 start-ups (some winners and some losers) over the past 25 years. He entered marketing at age 14, selling ads for the family newspaper after a successful career as corner newsboy. Later he worked at several newspapers and TV stations before founding his current firm in 1996. He has owned two marketing firms, including one ranked in the 2014 Inc. 500 (Inc. magazine’s list of the fastest-growing private companies in America). As owner of Marketing Matters Inbound, Anderson practices expertise in conversion optimization, creating the Customer Conversion Chain and the Lifestyle Loop in the process. He’s an occasional mountain climber and enjoys world travel with his wife, Cindy, and their three grown children, Ian, Sam, and Mary Grace. He is also infatuated with monkeys.
