It is my fervent hope that in extremis leaders—police, firefighters, soldiers, Marines, extreme sport coaches, and guides—may use this book to be introspective and thoughtful about their own leadership at the point of death. It is also my wish that every leader or follower gain insights from the principles found in leadership at the point of death. This chapter is focused on the latter aim.
