I’ve already stuck my neck out in the previous chapters by saying that, to me, certain phrases like “it’s the consumers who create communication” are the great demagogic discoveries which, if taken literally, contain more hypocrisy than modernity. However, this is not to say that the consumer (I’ll continue to refer to him as such, without fear of offending anyone) really doesn’t have a different, less passive role today. Much in the same way.
