Installation

Once downloaded, to install the Splunk Machine Learning Toolkit app (or any app) within Splunk Enterprise, do this:

1. Log in to Splunk Enterprise.
2. On the Apps menu, click on the Apps icon.
3. Click on Install app from file.
4. In the Upload app dialog box, click on Choose File.
5. Locate the .tar.gz or .tar file you just downloaded (typically splunk-machine-learning-toolkit_310). Then click on Open or Choose.
6. Click on Upload.
7. Once installed, you will be asked to restart Splunk.

Remember that you do not need to unzip or decompress the downloaded file before installing it.
