The management portal is the main console for the Oracle API platform. A web-based application deployed in the Oracle Cloud PaaS, it delivers capabilities to manage an API throughout the entire lifecycle. From API creation, policy implementation, access management, and API documentation to API documentation and analytics. In addition, depending on the user role (described later in the chapter), it is also possible to manage users, API gateways, and platform settings.
