Step 1 – obtaining an Oracle identity cloud account

Before any OAuth 2.0 configuration can be done, the obvious first step is to obtain an Oracle identity cloud account. For users with a Universal Credits (UCM) account, this step is not required as an Oracle identity cloud (foundation) instance is provisioned free of charge.
