There are several important preparation steps to complete before performing the installation step. This includes setting up several environmental variables. The first step is to prepare the configuration values to be applied. This is done by copying our gateway-props.json file described earlier in the chapter into the installation folder. The file is needed here as this will provide the installer script with the information necessary to perform the next steps. The following shows the command that needs to be run:
