Step 2 – configuring an Oracle identity cloud resource server 

The next step is to login to the Oracle identity cloud Instance using an administrator user (or basically the same user provisioned during the creation of the OCI account) and to create an OAuth 2.0 Resource Server as following:

Note that the version of Oracle identity cloud used in this chapter is 18.1.2 and therefore the steps might vary slightly in future releases.
  1. Login to the Oracle identity cloud Instance. URL should be something like, https://idcs-<instnace id>.identity.oraclecloud.com/ui/v1/adminconsole.
  2. Once logged in, click on the + sign next to Applications to create a new application:
