On the positive side, you are not beginning with a cultural “blank slate.” Your organization has a well-defined culture already. Its attributes stare you in the face each and every day. For example, it is difficult to imagine a longtime employee of Southwest Airlines, Oracle, WalMart, or Club Med easily changing cultures.
