Implementing Domain-Specific Languages with Xtext and Xtend

The ISetup interface

Running tests means we somehow need to bootstrap the environment to make it support EMF and Xtext in addition to the implementation of our DSL. This is done with a suitable implementation of ISetup. We need to configure things differently depending on how we want to run tests; with or without Eclipse and with or without Eclipse UI being present. The way to set up the environment is quite different when Eclipse is present, since many services are shared and already part of the Eclipse environment.
