About the Authors

Keith Allman is a Director in Deutsche Bank's Structured Credit group, working on esoteric asset-backed securities. Previously, he was a Senior Investment Manager with Bamboo Finance, a commercial impact investment firm managing a unique portfolio of direct venture and private equity investments around the world. He was responsible for generating new deal flow and providing board representation on the following portfolio companies: VidaGas, Immersion, Greenlight Planet, and Vienova.

He currently engages in impact-related work as a Director on the board for Relief International, where he started out volunteering in the Middle East. Earlier, he was a Director at Pearl Street Capital Group, where he focused on private equity fund of funds and venture debt funds. He also founded Enstruct, which services clients worldwide in capital markets and equity valuation, distressed valuation, and quantitative-based training.

His analytical expertise originated at Citigroup, where he modeled structured products for its conduits and eventually emerging-market transactions for its Principal Finance group. He has published four books on quantitative finance–related topics, including: Modeling Structured Finance Cash Flows, Reverse Engineering Deals on Wall Street, Corporate Valuation Modeling, and Financial Simulation Modeling. He holds bachelor degrees from UCLA and a master's degree from Columbia University.
