When Apple released iLife ’09, the company added a lot of new features to iMovie but barely touched iDVD. To keep this book from becoming a 500-page behemoth, I decided to pull the bulk of the iDVD section and offer it as a free download.

This chapter and the next cover the basics of creating and burning a DVD using iDVD, but there’s much more to the program. The free chapters detail how to use features such as OneStep DVD and Magic iDVD, work with submenus, customize themes, change backgrounds and buttons, and more.
