EDITING | How to Choose the One

Editing is a personal and subjective experience. Two people may look at a folder of images and choose completely different shots for different reasons. Sequencing images together adds a further layer of complexity. Not all great photographers are great editors. It’s an often-overlooked skill set in the picture-making process and requires as much care and thought as every other step. For photographers, it requires enough distance from your work to analyze an image for what it is without the emotional backstory of everything that went into making it.
