Always have a backup plan because, while something will ALWAYS go wrong, the shoot must go on. You’ll thank yourself for preparing for the worst and having a backup plan to your backup plan. There are lovely, dedicated, professional, trustworthy people, and there are flaky people. And sometimes even professionals have unexpected things come up.
