CHAPTER 2 | Wrap-Up

Chapter 2 outlined the foundational practices needed to cultivate an ideal environment for artists. This space should be physically, mentally, and emotionally conducive to generating ideas and creating work. Using the dissection of the nature and psychology inherent to artists, we discussed basic tools and intentions to overcome obstacles: building confidence through power posing, meditation, better sleep, play, journaling, designing your workspace, and creating a community support network. These practices all promote the creation of strong work while acknowledging your needs as an artist.
