Why do you make pictures?

My project was never intentional. I’ve spent my professional life looking at other people’s pictures while working in press departments of museums, galleries, and for publishers. I think that Photographs Rendered in Play-Doh is a way of communicating all that I’ve seen and discovered over the years. My hope is to lead others to discover the photographs and the photographers I admire. Working in press, you don’t really have a voice—you are a channel for other people’s ideas, and Photographs Rendered in Play-Doh is a continuation of this.
