Pisces is a large, very dim north-equatorial constellation that ranks 14th in size among the 88 constellations. Pisces covers 889 square degrees of the celestial sphere, or about 2.2%. Despite the fact that its brightest star is only fourth magnitude, it’s relatively easy to locate the large V outline of Pisces, assuming that you are fully dark-adapted and observing from a dark site.
