VIRGINIA: A few years ago Sony made a move from rendering with RenderMan to using the Arnold, a path-traced renderer. Do you find that more ray tracing is a trend across all studios?

ROB: Time will tell, but it looks like more and more studios are using very sophisticated ray tracers and global illumination renderers for more and more of their work.
