In this part . . .

In this final part, I give you some snippits of useful information in the form of appendixes.

Because the world of IFRS is so vast, you’ve quite a lot to take in. After you get the basics under your belt, you may want to delve further into IFRS and build on the knowledge this book gives you. In Appendix A, you find a lot of additional sources of information that help you develop your knowledge.

Appendix B gives you handy guidance on the mini version of full IFRS (called IFRS for SMEs), which is designed for smaller companies that don’t trade their shares on a stock market. You find out what IFRS for SMEs is, which companies it applies to and some of the notable differences between IFRS for SMEs and full IFRS.

And finally, in Appendix C I provide a quick-reference glossary of some of the key terms I use in the book – so you can get easily to grips with IFRS and accounting lingo.
