5.ASK FOR MORE IDEAS, SOONER
If you ask the people you work with to come up with three ideas by next week, they will come up with three ideas by next week.
But if you ask them to come up with ten ideas by the end of the day, they will come up with ten ideas by the end of the day.
And many times those ten ideas will include the three ideas they would have spent all week dreaming up. Plus a couple of ideas they might have discarded, ideas that might work better than any of the others.
So raise the bar. The people you work with will find a way to jump over it.
