Basic story structure seems pretty simple:

  • It is an ordinary day
  • Something happens that moves the character to action
  • A character wants something badly
  • He meets with conflict
  • The conflict intensifies until
  • He makes a discovery, learns a lesson, or makes a choice
  • In order to succeed.
