After ten years at Nike, where he was global creative director overseeing the design and creation of retail, multimedia, apparel, footwear, and equipment design worldwide, Gordon Thompson III went to Cole Haan as executive vice president and creative director, innovating and introducing Nike Air technology in the fashion world. He left in 2007, and is now a creative consultant to brands such as Disney, Lilly Pulitzer, and Reyn Spooner.
