This appendix describes all channel attributes, the required cable types, the maximum unrepeated distance, and the bit rate for z14 servers. The features that are hosted in the PCIe drawer for Cryptography and Compression are also listed.
For all optical links, the connector type is LC Duplex, except for the zHyperLink, the 12xIFB, and the ICA SR connections, which are established with multifiber push-on (MPO) connectors. The MPO connector of the 12xIFB connection includes one row of 12 fibers.
