Chapter 3. Administrative Commands
After installation of WebSphere Application Server, the first thing typically done is to start the server with the startServer command. This is just one of several administrative commands provided by WebSphere to help you manage your installation. Administrative commands are used to start and stop servers, federate and unfederate nodes, and back up your configuration. A complete list of administrative commands is contained in Table 3.1. This chapter describes describes each command and many of each command's parameters.
