We've all been there. It's the weekend, the production system is experiencing problems, or the imminent deployment is not functioning properly in system test, and it seems that everyone else is out enjoying life. Often, at times like this, it takes much longer than it should to resolve problems. Our organizational and problem-solving skills are not at their best due to stress and fatigue. In this chapter, we will talk about some general problem-solving skills, specific techniques by topology layer, and useful tools for problem determination.
