Conclusion

In this chapter, we reviewed the various types of client applications that are supported by IBM for access to WAS. We showed examples including the packaging and launching of a sample J2EE client application for the stock system app we are using throughout this book. We discussed the WAS Application Clients CD and the Client Samples Gallery included with it, which contains samples and useful documentation on the building, packaging, deploying, and running of each client application type.
