In the last chapter, we automated the building and deployment of the Personal Trade System. Now that we have covered JDBC, we have updated the example to use JDBC to access a DB2 database. In order to run the example, you must set up the database using the installation examples in Appendix C, “Setup Instructions for Samples.” Because we need to access JDBC, we will add JDBC configuration to our build and deployment process. (The process was outlined in Chapter 4, “Build and Deploy Procedures.”) Before running the example, we will examine the wsadmin JDBC scripts.
